I spent 40 hours comparing baby gear so you don't have to. This is the story of why.
How it started
When my son was on the way, I did what every first-time dad does: I googled everything. What I found was an overwhelming sea of sponsored reviews, affiliate-stuffed listicles, and forum threads with conflicting opinions from parents with completely different budgets and lifestyles.
I ended up evaluating 14 strollers, 8 car seats, and 3 baby monitors before finally making my purchases. The process took weeks. And after going through all of it, I realised the information was out there — it was just buried, scattered, and never written with Malaysian parents in mind.
Our roads are different. Our budgets are different. Our access to certain brands is different. What works for a family in the US or UK doesn't always translate here.
So I built findbabystuff.com to be the research sanctuary I wished existed — honest, structured, and written for us.
What we stand for
Honest research
Every product is evaluated against real criteria. We document pros, cons, and who each product is actually best for — not just who has the biggest marketing budget.
Malaysian context
We factor in local availability, pricing in Ringgit, climate considerations, and the realities of Malaysian roads and living spaces.
Parents first
This site exists to save you time and reduce the anxiety of new parenthood. We don't pad out content. We get to the point.
